Burger Mayonnaise

It took me a few attempts to get the balance just right when I was creating this sauce mix. Well worth the time invested because when you're having a burger (which shouldn't be too often) you want it to taste right and let's be honest, a good sauce plays a big role in that! This mayonnaise has quite a few ingredients, but if you have a good food processor it takes no time at all for it to come together. By refrigerating it slightly before using it, the sauce will thicken up nicely too!

Ingredients

  • 5 Tbsp unsweetened natural greek yogurt
  • 2 Tbsp olive oil
  • 3 tsp tomato paste
  • 1 tsp stevia
  • 1/2 tsp tabasco sauce
  • 2 tsp lemon juice
  • 1 tsp hot mustard
  • 1 small gherkin
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp pepper

If you want to make the yogurt yourself, check out my
NATURAL YOGURT RECIPE.

Special equipment needed:
  • Food processor

How to

  • Place all the ingredients in a food processor and mix for 30 seconds or until combined well
  • Refridgerate for 30 minutes before use
  • Keep refrigerated, it should last about a week - enjoy!
