Banana smoothies are known for their health appeal but often they can be quite sugary! Sometimes ice cream is added or an unnatural orange juice to sweeten up the flavour - be careful if you’re buying one and be sure to ask questions! This smoothie keeps things simple, making sure the banana taste is the star with the oats making it feel like more of a meal. Bananas can increase your sugar levels, so I personally wouldn't make a smoothie for myself on a daily basis. But, bananas are high in fibre and it's important to have a balanced menu!
