Almond Milk Porridge with Apple & Cinnamon
This is a classic, good solid breakfast and great for the Winter months. I remember Mum feeding me porridge as a kid, uncooked! Thanks Mum. Oh how times have changed, the luxury of cooked porridge! 😳😂 Using almond milk dulls down the sugar and carbohydrate content and adds a heap more flavour! Cinnamon is a wonder-ingredient in my mind, because it adds so much flavour to the porridge and its list of health benefits is a very long one! One of the most commonly known benefits is its anti-inflammatory properties and its even been linked to reducing sugar levels in type 2 diabetics!
