I am not exaggerating when I say this is one of my most delicious dinner recipes. The combination of these flavours is insanely good. Because it is deconstructed, you can combine the flavours yourself by adding the different elements to your fork as you please. This also means that each mouthful is slightly, or even completely different each time! Sometimes I'll just have a piece of the steak, others I'll load everything on! This is also quite a romantic dish because you can share it with a loved one and it is made to impress!
Preparation option: with the eggplant 🍆 if you want to be super extra, once it is chopped as per instructions below, sprinkle it with salt, cover and place in the fridge for 2 - 3 hours to draw some of the liquid out. Rinse well under cold water to get the salt off and pat dry before baking.
