Crunchy Salad & Lemon Dressing
A good salad should not be underestimated. The bright colours come full with nutrients and vitamins that help keep our bodies happy. In the picture you can see I have balanced this salad with a piece of a thin sliced wholemeal bread... When my body is digesting this meal, it will do slowly because of the high amount of fibre (in the bread and the vegetables) of this meal... A plain piece of white bread would more likely spike my sugar levels. The big trick, is to have a sugar free delicious homemade dressing - because it makes a salad go from average to amazing and it does not make the whole purpose of eating a salad pointless! A salad is meant to be full of health benefits, not full of hidden sugars and bad fats!
