I call them baked beans but really it's baked chickpeas and beans 😜 I like to add the chickpeas for some extra fibre and a slightly heavier texture. I sometimes add cheese to make cheesy baked beans... The extra protein helps fill me up too! Served with a touch of sour cream, a wee sprinkle of parsley, an egg and a slice of wholemeal toast this makes for a well-balanced super satisfying breakfast! The leftovers make for a great snack later on as well 👍🏼😊
